With a quarterly readership well in excess of 59,000 a huge amount of work goes into the production of Tidings. Rosemary is the longest standing member of the editorial team and has been involved with the publication since its very first issue in 1998. During this time she has completed two stints as editor, the most recent coming to an end with our Autumn 2017 edition.
The greatest challenge for the team is finding the right balance of content in the magazine. As Rosemary points out: ‘Everyone’s experience of a stoma will be different. Some of our readers will have been receiving Tidings for years; for others it will be the first time they have come across our magazine: they may be facing stoma surgery or in the early days after their operation.’
