Jo McKenzie: Volunteers and Support Coordinator
Jo is the longest serving member of our team. She began as a volunteer back in the days when we were the British Colostomy Association, before becoming a full-time employee in 2005. Over the past 15 years or so, Jo has not only become well known in the stoma care industry but developed into something of an oracle on all things ‘ostomate’. If you call our helpline during the day, then there’s a good chance Jo will answer. Jo works closely with our volunteers, helps with their training and co-ordinates pretty much everything that they do for us.
When Jo isn’t imparting words of wisdom or compiling volunteer rotas she likes to relax by watching Reality TV in the company of her two kittens, Dolly and Coco.
