We are sad to hear that Julian Whitehouse passed away just after Christmas. Julian was a great supporter of our charity and our first Team Colostomy UK Darts player.

At Colostomy UK we are very proud of the fact that we are able to offer 24 hour support, every single day of the year. It is thanks to the tireless efforts of our volunteers that we were able to take 3229 calls last year! With them in mind can we please ask you to think about whether you need the helpline, medical advice or admin support.

A very touching story here from Jeff Wills, whose mum had a Stoma after a horrific car accident, spending more than a year in hospital. It is easy to overlook sometimes the impact that Stomas have on family and friendship and the undoubted stress/fear it creates. Jeff was able to turn his story around from a negative to a positive.
