The Stoma Care Nursing Service aims to provide a high quality, comprehensive, patient-centred service, delivering safe, dignified and compassionate care. We work in partnership with our patients and their families, providing personalised care in the best setting for them.
Who can Join?
We often encourage our patients to get more active after stoma surgery and so we are setting a good example and so the stoma care team have set up their own team!
Stoma 66 is all about challenging yourself. It’s about trying to make regular exercise a part of your daily life. Every step by every person counts towards our 66,000km target, there is no set distance you need to achieve, and you don’t need to be active every single day, just take note of how much activity you’re doing.
