Discovering Active Ostomates: After recovering from surgery and taking some time to rest, I became aware of Colostomy UK in late 2023 and joined the charity as part of a bowel cancer group.
Through the charity’s newsletter, I learned about the Active Ostomates programme. I was particularly interested in something to improve my flexibility, so in February 2024, I signed up for my first online Pilates class with Heather.
