You can also separate the flange and inner liner, flushing them separately, or disposing of the inner liner in the toilet and discarding the flange in the bin. From an independent study, Aura Flushable is proven not to block the toilet or drains when both the inner liner and flange are flushed together, but some people prefer to separate the two for extra peace of mind{1}. The outer cover stays clean and is designed to be disposed of in a bin when convenient.
