Bobbie joined our helpline team in 2012 and has since become one of our most dedicated volunteers. Living with a stoma herself, she brings something uniquely valuable to every conversation: empathy shaped by real experience. She understands the worries, questions, and moments of isolation that many callers face—and uses her own journey to reassure them that they are not alone.

What sets Bobbie apart is her ability to truly listen and connect. For many callers, speaking to someone who has walked a similar path lifts the weight of uncertainty and replaces it with hope.
