Sarah Child: Community Engagement Administrator
Hi I am Sarah, the Community Engagement Administrator.
I have worked in administrative roles across various industries for the past 30 years, spending the last ten years as a caseworker, supporting people through a wide range of challenges, including health, social care, housing and education.
Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping people navigate difficult situations, access the right support and be heard.
I am excited to be part of the Colostomy UK team because it combines my professional experience with my passion for bringing people together. After going through my own experience of cancer, I understand how valuable community, compassion, and practical support can be. I believe that sharing experiences and building a supportive network can make a real difference in people’s lives.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends, being by the sea, exploring nature, reading and meeting new people.
