New Partnership with Blackpool FC

We are proud to be working with Blackpool Football Club in becoming the latest Club in the UK to introduce stoma friendly toilets across the stadium.
Improvements to all seven of the stadiums accessible toilets include a mirror, shelf, bin, and hooks on the doors. This means that supporters living with a stoma can now attend matches with the comfort of knowing there are facilities at Bloomfield Road that cater to their needs.
Giovanni Cinque, Marketing & Campaigns Manager at Colostomy UK, said:
“We know from the people we support that going to the football is about so much more than the 90 minutes on the pitch. It’s about being part of the crowd, the chants, and the sense of belonging. But if you live with a stoma, not knowing if the toilets will meet your needs can stop you coming altogether.
“Blackpool FC has taken a brilliant step to make sure that’s no longer the case at Bloomfield Road.”

“I am delighted that these facilities have been installed at Bloomfield Road.
“With more than 200,000 people in the UK living with a stoma, this latest development is another move forward where the Club is helping to break down barriers and show that football really is for everyone. The partnership with Colostomy UK on this project will hopefully give fans confidence to enjoy their matchday without worry.”
