Do you care for a family member or friend who has a stoma and are you looking for more support?

Our ‘caring for a person with a stoma’ online workshop covers all the need to know topics including practical stoma management, a guide to different appliances, common concerns, support from Stoma Care Nurses, dementia, and the psychological and emotional issues connected with living with a stoma.

Colostomy UK have been delivering ‘caring for a person with a stoma’ workshops In the community since 2015 and are now delighted that thanks to support from the Ernest Hecht Charitable Foundation we are now making these workshops available online.

Delivered by a Stoma Care Nurse the workshops are aimed at anyone who looks after someone with a stoma.
